A Design Guideline to Improve User Engagements in Personal Assistants: a Metaphoric Perspective (Master/Bachelor Informatik / Komedia)

Description

Digital assistants are becoming a part of everyday users’ life. However, the role of these agents in interacting with the users are still not well explored. Focusing on the metaphoric perception of the users from these agents, the objective is to identify, model, prototype, and test several metaphoric concepts in which users may prefer to have for a convenient interaction experience. Accordingly, based on these models, the user interaction with the systems should be defined and modified. This thesis, therefore, would identify these metaphors, investigate the user’s perception and interaction, and based on the user’s study and test, will come up with approaches for personalization of the users’ interaction with these agents.
