Steffen Budweg (former member)

Steffen Budweg, M.Sc. is a researcher and project manager in the Interactive Systems group in the Department of Computer Science and Applied Cognitive Sciences at the University of Duisburg-Essen.

Before joining the University in 2010 he was at the Fraunhofer Institute for Applied Information Technology (Fraunhofer FIT) and former GMD – German National Research Center for Information Technology in St. Augustin.

He has been working in national and European research projects in the domains of Collaboration Systems, HCI, User-centered and Participatory Design (e.g. IP ECOSPACE, IP CoSpaces, IP IperG, IPCity, NoE Demo-Net) and was the coordinator of VIRAL – a second wave member lab of the European Network of Living Labs (ENoLL). Currently he is coordinating the AAL-JP project FoSIBLE (Fostering Social Interaction for a Better Life for the Elderly).
